I had such a fantastic weekend at Festival International!!

the music was awesome! the dancing was awesome! i felt like i traveled the world and danced in spain, mali trinidad jamaica canada and more! if you like world music you should make plans to come down to lafayette la next year. i think it's the last weekend in april every year. tons of artists and treasures from around the world. we also had habib koite and his band come over for steak and ribs and other yummy foods. (i guess they really wanted some "meat") it was great meeting people from all over the world and hearing their music and learning about their lives. :) we also went to another friends another night and played pool and pingpong and thank goodness no one got hurt!! :D lol

well jazz fest in new orleans on thursday! woohoo!!

then i head home. wow. seven weeks later. kristin and the kitties will be happy to see me and i am already happy thinking about them!! i'll see jim on thursday night yay!! ok that's it for now. i'll check in when i can. :)
